Crack Fusion Team 2016 Activation

Fusion reactors would also be very expensive to build, and more so to maintain. Because the neutron output would be lethal, scientists would need to develop materials that could keep the neutron fluency within safe limits. But those materials would also need to be able to keep the material at the high temperature (around 55 million degrees Celsius (122 million degrees Fahrenheit) for an entire year without failing.

Crack Fusion Team 2016 Activation

Fusion reactors would also have an ever increasing life cycle cost compared to fission reactors. But it should be noted that fusion reactors would also have an ever increasing operational cost compared to fission reactors. The operational cost of fusion reactors would be higher than a fission reactor because the fusion reactor would need fuel, coolant, and the high-tech materials to keep the fuel in the reactor. And then there are the redundant systems to protect it from a meltdown that could eventually come to pass. There would be a learning curve on how to keep the fusion reactor online, but it would still be higher than a fission reactor because the requirements to keep it online.

The effectiveness of the neutron fluxed of a fusion reactor in terms of curing a tooth is currently unknown. There is a possibility that the neutron flux may be able to improve the appearance of discolored teeth; however, there is no solid evidence for this. It would take a lot of research before we could truly assess the efficacy of this process. For instance, would you be willing to sacrifice a dozen teeth and enjoy a $10,000 savings on the cost of your crown and crown replacement?
